“Invite God Into Your Day…Everyday”
Yesterday, a mentor of mine reminded me to invite God into my life every day, first thing. One might think, with me being a minister, I would not need to be reminded of this, but sometimes I do. Often, it is us ministers who get busy doing our jobs who forget to be diligent practitioners. The place I am particularly blessed is that I am grateful to be reminded. I vividly remember what it was like when the only important thing was to remember God active and present in my mind, my words and my actions.
Oh, weren’t those the days?! When the most important thing in my life was consciously including God in every aspect of my life!? Why was it so important? Because I was happier than I had been when I had forgotten every day. And now, when I forget, I’m not as happy as I am when I remember.
Life is very different when I invite God into my life. This morning I declared, “I invite God into my mind, my words and my actions. I invite God into my body, my relationships and my finances.” Then I go on about my business knowing that God is active and present in me because I have invited God in.
Today and every day, consciously invite God in first thing. God first and then everything else, and know that God is in everything else.
I am very grateful to share these spiritual thoughts and practices with you guys.
Let’s affirm together, “The Superconscious Mind is awake in me now!”
