Happiness is a Mental Habit

Hey U-nity,
Living From the Super-consciousness
“Happiness is a Mental Habit”,

“Happiness is a mental habit, a mental attitude, and if it is not learned and practiced in the present it is never experienced.”
  —Maxwell Maltz

Do you live in the “If only’s”?  “I could be happy if…”

Many years ago I learned I could be happy if I believed in a God that was on my side and loved me no matter what.  So that is the God I sought and found and that’s when the mental attitude of happiness began.  My days became more joy-filled.  My prayer life became a habit.  My seeking joy in my experiences (even the hard ones) became a habit.

Today, I automatically know that the world is not always pleasing to me, but there is Light within me and all I have to do is find the willingness to turn it on so that I can see.  Let’s all get in the habit of turning on the Light.  Why?  So that we can see.

Light is Good,
