"God Is In the Tears and the Laughter"

Each week we end our Celebration Service with “The Prayer For Protection.” In that prayer is the statement, “Wherever we are, GOD IS, and all is well.” Do we mean it or don’t we?
Are we willing to trust both the Presence of God and that God is Presence Itself in what’s fun an what’s hard? It’s the same God. God IS Presence not absence.
I encourage everyone to acknowledge the Presence of Light and Love in all circumstances. I’m not seeking to rob anyone of their feelings. I’m looking to get all of us to know the Truth while we are having them. In Truth there is no cause for despair, no matter our feelings or sensation. The Love that God IS, is the Love that we are. Let’s focus on that Love through our tears and our laughter. Let’s really take notice that wherever we are, God IS and all is ultimately well…even if we don’t understand how.
Pay attention, for heaven’s sake! :}
Please don’t ever decide that “This is the only way to think about it.”
