“In the Super-consciousness I Plant Seeds…I Don’t Worry About Whether Or Not They Take Root”
Anybody here have issues with having to have the last word in a debate? How concerned are you about whether or not someone gets your point? I have blocked people from facebook so that I won’t be tempted to argue with them. I don’t block anybody because I don’t like them. I block them so that I won’t be tempted to hate them. (I think a few have blocked me for the same reason.)
Something I have taken to doing is offering a new perception on some views that greatly conflict with my understanding of the way I believe. I call it planting a seed. If my seed doesn’t find receptive soil in that place, then I must move on knowing that I planted a seed and sometimes it takes a long time to see the results of my plantings. What I have become certain of is that I have never gotten a seed to bloom by yelling at it or hating it. Digging it up to see how it’s doing isn’t so effective either.
In the Super-consciousness we are to “raise the dead,” “help the blind to see,” “heal the sick,” and “cast out demons.” (If you want a greater explanation, watch my Facebook message from Monday.)
If you hear a friend say something that is so far from your belief system, feel free to state your belief. Plant the seed, but don’t drown the seed with fury. Water it with love.
