“The End of Loneliness”
I was with a healing group the other day and the topic was loneliness. We went around the circle of individuals who were sharing their thoughts about loneliness. I am very clear that loneliness has nothing to do with whether or not somebody else is in the room with me. It occurred to me that when my loneliness kicks in is when I am disconnected from my Source. Technically, I can never actually be disconnected from my Source but I can be spiritually, mentally and emotionally disconnected. I can forget about God, Love, Higher Power, Spirit, with just one insult or even a big plate of carbohydrates, (among many other things.)
I looked back at my life to see when I felt loneliest. Every single period of loneliness I could think of from both long ago and recently was when I felt disconnected from my Source. Every single time!
I could also see that whenever I am feeling consciously connected to Source/God/Love/Higher Power I can’t find any loneliness. I don’t think about loneliness. I’m not worrying about it coming back. When I am consciously connected to God, I am in the present and I am never lonely in the present.
There is always an opportunity to experience loneliness or connection with my Higher Power. I can choose today. Conditions don’t make me choose one or the other. Memory and willingness let me choose. Today, let’s choose to remember our Source and Supply and stay connected.
Let’s affirm together, “The Superconscious Mind is awake in me now!”
