Our world has been becoming far too divisive as a result of our misuse of race consciousness. Metaphysical meaning of race (rw)
race consciousness--The human race has formed laws of physical birth and death, laws of sickness and physical inability, laws making food the source of bodily existence, laws of mind that recognize no other source of existence except the physical. The sum total of these laws forms a race consciousness separate from and independent of creative Mind. When creative Mind sought to help men spiritually, the mind of the flesh opposed it and made every effort to solve its problems in its own way. The great need of the human family is mind control. Jesus showed us that mastery is attained through realization of the power of Spirit.
Rather than using our divine inheritance for clarity, many of us (some with the best of intentions) have been misusing it for hate and separation. How many of us have asked the question, “Why can’t THEY behave?” “Why can’t They just be quiet?” “Why can’t PEOPLE just be nice?” “I hate HIM!” “I can’t stand HER!” “THEY are this…” “THEY are that…” If you’ll notice, all these statements are about others and not ourselves. AND, it won’t help if we are just as unkindly judgmental about ourselves.
How do we begin to affirm our ONENESS with God and each other? We can start by simply saying it. “All beings are ONE in God. That means I AM ONE with God.” That was easy, wasn’t it? Now, how do we go about believing it? Practice, that’s how. If we are to redeem ourselves in our own eyes, it won’t be by eliminating the people we don’t like. It will be by aligning our minds with the One Mind. If we are to have peace on earth and live in a heaven consciousness, we must seek for how to think in Love.
Let’s all start interrupting the thoughts that give us the impression of separation and ask for thoughts of gentle inclusion and how to LOVE in both our conscious and unconscious mind. We already love from our Super-conscious mind. Let’s let it flow the whole way through ourselves and out into the world we see.
Let’s affirm together, “The Superconscious Mind is awake in me now!”
